There is a large obstruction, 2" electrical conduit and box just under my tub/shower drain in the crawl space. So I increased the length of my vertical drain line down about 20" before installing the P-trap. I guess I should have asked this question before gluing it all in, but I started to wonder if that much head would cause the water to not stay in the trap and just drain out.
