Hi all,

For the shower, it's hard to see with the resolution but it seems like the previous installer had use what looks like an S trap to get to the vertical drain, but I think it is because the plastic shower pan drain location did not line up with the vertical drain. The vertical drain has a steady water level about 1’ down the pipe, i opened a faucet which drains into this vertical drain and the water level did not seem to go down, am I correct in thinking there must be a P-trap there, before the water makes it to the septic tank? It would be lots of digging up to lay eyes on it, and I don't have a camera yet.

I attached a video as well.

Thanks!
