I want to know if I can vent a sewage pit into the existing vent from my tub on the first floor and if so, how high above the tub spill would it need to be?

The pipe on the right is the tub vent. The one in the left is the kitchen sink drain/vent. I was wondering find I could come in right about where the new tub spout is in the picture.

Your only supposed to tie in a sewage ejection pit vent into your houses vent piping after the last fixture near where the vent pipe pennatrates the house.

Can you tie it in there? Probably. I think the reasoning for tieing it in away from other fixtures is to prevent excessive pressures near other fixtures.

Thanks for that. I think I'll just go ahead and tie it in above where the tub and sink vents tie into the main stack. Doesn't seem like I can go wrong with that.
