Thanks in advance, all.

Question on finishing my basement.

We built our home 5 years ago, and I've been slowly working on finishing the basement. I'm really good with general finishing work, but have no plumbing experience outside of fairly extensive repairs to a HUD home that wasn't winterized. That was replacing existing work though. I'm comfortable with running the PVC, but not as familiar with the rules.

I've come to the point that I need to install our pit pump for a wet bar sink. We had our builders rough in a pit. They also roughed in a Y into the main sewer line for me to hit with the discharge, as well as a capped off pit vent local to the pit. The pit is about 60 feet away from the main septic line, around a few corners.

So here is my question. I know the pit pump itself requires a vent line, which would tie into that local vent rough in. Do I need any other venting on that run? Will 60 feet be a long way to push that water without a separate vent on that discharge line? I have it running down about 5 feet over that 60 feet, so there is good run in the pitch of the discharge. It's installed at a noticeable angle. I just want to make sure I'm not putting some weird pressure issues into my run. I could tie a vent to the main about 30 feet into that discharge run, if needed. Just want some advice on how to approach it.

Thanks!
