Our new-build home has an ejector pit in the basement with a roof vent. In the winter, it is not uncommon for the master bath sink drains to gurgle loudly and the water level in the bowl of the master bath toilet to go way down every time the ejector pit check valve operates.

Is this indicative of ice blocking the roof vent. If so, how do you fix that? Uf not, what could be causing the drain gurgling and toilet water reduction when the ejector pit check valve operates?
