See images. Installing on 1/2" copper that leads outside to hose, and one to the dishwasher. Home currently has old gate valves I am replacing.
The Nibco valve is 2x the size and 2x the weight of the Watts valve. I get they could be slightly different materials (?) but the size and weight difference is very noticeable. Each is lead free (LF). The Watts has "LF" on the body where the Nibco does not - its tag states lead free but nowhere on the unit does it say "LF".
I had planned on the Nibco, but saw the Watts at the local hardware and as they are smaller/lighter wondered if they might possibly be a better choice for this specific application?
Any input on which I should install?
