Need Threads Cut on Kingston Brass Drain Tube : 1-1/2" by 26 tpi

I have a Kingston Brass clawfoot tub British lever style tub drain. Solid brass. In shipping, one of the 1-1/2" drain tubes was badly damaged on the threaded end. I put my thread gauge on it and I read 26 tpi. I have cut these brass drain tubes to fit before, and with my chop saw I can make a perfect 90 degree cut right behind the bent threads. But how can I get the end threaded? With the other tubes I cut, I was only cutting to shorten the length, and didn't have to worry about threads.

Thanks. I'll try Kingston Brass, but I have had zero luck getting them to sell me other parts for one of their tub faucets.

looks pretty generic and I say a machine shop could do that because I was a Machinist but I cant imagine someone having a machine shop thread that at a competetive cost . but it might make sence I think most engine lathes will have gears for 26tpi

Agree on the 17 gauge. I have a buffing wheel and lots of compound.
But I also have a buddy with a large lathe. So I'll try him first.

Have u called the manufacturer of the drain kit? Brass can be different colors just by the metals make up.

Its pretty easy to polish brass. I just recently had to turn a polished brass into tarnished brass and I kept on ending up with polished again by over working it.
