I just put the 2nd new well pressure switch on and just like the last one my pressure is at or below 20. The points on my switch are closed continuously but my pressure gauge stays at 20 and it’s new. I’ve shut everything down drained the dog tank. Then made sure I put air at 38 in tank because I have a 40/60 switch. But it’s still staying at or below 20. Anybody??? B

You either have a big leak in the pipe somewhere, the pump is worn out, or the well is not producing much water. I suspect a leak. Close the ball valve going to the house. If the pump then shuts off the leak is at the house. If the pump continues to run the leak is underground of down the well.

I suspect this is the continuation of a thread. Best would normally be to reply into that thread, so there is some history. You would think that I would be motivated to track back, but I decided not to.

EDIT: OK, I tried, but I only realized this was your first post.

You could have a clogged jet in your jet pump.
