Dishwasher drain on Island

I am trying to install a dishwasher in an island with no sink. Can I run the drain plumbing from the dishwasher to my basement and connect it there. I will likely use an AAV as no vent is nearby. Can someone comment with ideas for this drain issue?

Your idea of basement would not be to code.
For remote or distant installation, you are allowed to route the drain to a sink then into the standard dishwasher air gap.
