Hi, I am in the process of DWV plumbing for upstairs renovation. Originally I had the washing machine tying in upstairs, but I am going to need to move as it will affect wet vent venting of one the downstream wet vented toilets. I am not able to tie it in upstairs and so will need to tie it on a horizontal branch located in the basement. I have two main horizontal branch drains in the basement. The branch I plan on tying the WM into consists of two kitchen sinks. One kitchen sink is vented through the roof and the other is in an island and vented w/ an AAV. My question is whether it would be better to tie in the washing machine upstream or downstream of the two kitchen sinks? My initial thought is downstream as an AAV for the island sink will only allow for negative pressure, but not positive pressure. I am curious on what my best option would be? I attached image of what the basement horizontal branch drain looks like with the proposed tie in downstream. Thank you.

Id prefer downstream I think anywhere is allowed in your code oops not anywhere you are correct about being downstream of HWV.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but what does HWV stand for? I tried looking it up, but no luck. Thanks!.

Never Mind, I found it. Horizontal Wet Venting. That makes sense, haha. Thank you for your help.
