I’m doing a remodel on existing home and would like to locate my washing machine in an interior wall approximately 7 feet away from my main line. I was trying to avoid cutting the floor unless I have to. Can I branch off with a wye under the slab then turn vertical with a 3” 90 approximately 2 feet then run 7’ horizontally inside the wall to my washer trap arm? Main line is 4” with a cycle vent at the end. I can vent the vertical stack with a AAV if needed.
essentially, I’m trying to decide whether to run my drain in the wall or slab.

Whichever choice you make, if your washer standpipe has a 2" trap, then it will need a vent connection before the trap arm has fallen 2", so within 8' if you keep the trap arm slope to 1/4" per foot exactly. Once you vent the trap arm, you can route the drain however you like, as long as you maintain fall and use the proper fittings.
