I want to install a splitter between the old toilet supply pipe (which appears to be copper or brass) and the existing shutoff valve so I can attach a spray hose. The house is 65 years old and the pipe looks to be original. The valve is a Sharkbite 1/4 turn with what looks like a 3/8” female NPT inlet, so I purchased a splitter with a 3/8” FIP inlet. But the old pipe seems to be SLIGHTLY larger than the FIP inlet. See attached pics. Anybody have a guess as to what size inlet this old shutoff valve has?
