For some reason, my basement foundation has a large opening
with a 2" pvc (conduit) running through it - about 9" long.
In the pvc pipe is my copper water supply line - from the street.
The leak - on heavy rains - is producing water inside the pvc
pipe where it drips out on to the basement wall. The copper
water line is at such an angle in the conduit that I can't see or reach the
dirt (?) on the outside of the foundation to visibly see the leak.
I guess I have no choice but to seal up pvc conduit to stop the
leak?? If so, what product should I use to do this?
Thanks.
Frank
