My Fleck 5600SXT softener was stuck right at the beginning of the first step of a regen and it timed-out and got an Error 0. The gears/cams have only moved slightly but they are not in the SERV position. I tried powering off and doing a soft reset. I couldn't clear the Error so I did a hard reset. Now I'm wondering is it ok to try to start another regen cycle with the cams/gears slightly out of SERV at the beginning? Or, is there some recommended way to get the gears back where they normally are for the beginning of the regen cycle?
