Hi, I designed an 8 ft kitchen using three cabinets. The 36” sink base is in the middle but the drain comes in on the far right side of the cabinet. The handyman doing the installations is insisting we add a 12” base so the pipe is closer to the middle of the cabinet and under the sink drain. This may be easier for him, but changes everything! Because we are changing to PVC from galvanized my husband said it’s doable. Who’s correct and what is your advice. I’ve seen tube videos where the pipe in the wall isn’t even in the sink base cabinet.
