Me and my neighbors sewer lines are connected together under my neighbors driveway, the city was going to be redoing my street so I had a new 4" line sewer line bored from where my sewer exits my house to the location where the new lateral would be. When the city did put the new street in they did put a new lateral for for my house but did not hook up my new sewer line, they hooked up the old sewer line that is shared with my neighbor, to be clear my neighbor and I both have new laterals in front of our houses that terminate 2 feet towards our house from the sidewalk.

My question are how do I connect my new line to the lateral as I will not be able to glue the last joint, can I use a Fernco rubber coupler that I've read about.
Can I use the white PVC pipe from from the box stores to finish the connection.
Can I glue the white PVC to the lateral which is green pipe
What degree elbows can I use to connect my line to the lateral, my sewer line is 4' deep, the lateral is 6' deep, I'm assuming I should not use any 90 degree elbows
How do I terminate my neighbors sewer line when I disconnect from it, it is clay tile.

Your help is greatly appreciated,

I only seen green sewer pipe never seen white ? , the white that I see is sch 40 dwv PVC which I belive is always a step up from sewer pipe higher quality more expensive as are the fittings . generally I use 45 degree fittings with a test wye directly on the lateral . sewer gets tested with water up to top of slab geneally or as high as practicle lowest fixture perhaps
abandoned pipe dosent need terminating as far as I know. 4inch clay mission band and plug is typical im sure there is another proper cap nearby plumbing supply has not a big deal to pick up there goes another 20 bucks lol .
since youll have 45s you should be able to glue it together just lift the main up and push it together at a 45 . start at house going to sewer then when kinda close put the test wye on and figure out your pieces to gett a fit up between the 2 elevations itll take a little dry fitting and guess work to get the pieces lined up just dont cut them short LOL or youll look dumb with extra couplings !

There is a white PVC available that is called Sewer and Drain (S & D). That is NOT for sewers, it is for rain water lines only because it is not heavy duty. Schedule 40 white PVC is fine for sewers.
If you don't have a cleanout on the end of your home you can use a two way cleanout or two wyes facing both directions to allow cleaning out the house line in a pinch.
ONLY use shielded Fernco type couplings, NEVER use unshielded and preferably choose. Best to use what Fernco calls Strong Back couplings to resist earth shear forces if your pipe is more than two feet deep. https://www.fernco.com/products/shielded-couplings
Mission Rubber also makes them called ARC

In a pinch, you can cut out the inner stop-bead to slide on.
