Hi all,
I just discovered that one PVC condensate drain line is leaking water from inside the walls through two floors.
The AC unit is at the 2nd floor's attic, so the condensate drain line is running inside the walls.
I am thinking that if I can just run the drain line to the outside directly from the attic, then run the line along the exterior wall right beside the gutter downpipe. This would save me from all the headache from future leakage.
I live in Raleigh area in NC, so the winter shouldn't be too old. Beside even if the PVC pipe cracks I can still easily replace the damaged section.
Just wondering if doing so is against any plumbing or building code?
Thanks a lot
