Trying to decide whether to keep our old Toto Carrollton or get a new toilet. Hoping to keep the costs to a minimum, so we found a replacement Carrollton tank (to replace our cracked tank) but given its age, we will also need to replace the fill valve, flapper, seat, etc. Toto said they do not sell a toilet with the same footprint as the Carrollton (which sounded strange). Interested to know if you think it is worth keeping the Carrollton and fixing the internals and replacing the tank or just replacing the entire toilet with a new one. If our plumbing is set up for the Toto Unifit system (I'm not sure if it is a 10", 12" or 14") will another brand of toilet be easy to replace it or should we stick with Toto?
