Hi all, sorry for anyone reading this who was also helping with my other thread--but this is the root of the issue:
I currently have a Toto Eco Supreme 863-113 (diagram with parts here). I've had it since 2013.
Over the last few years, there has been a recurring issue with some sort of running/flushing noise even after I manually flush. Sometimes it is a typical "jiggle the handle" problem and that fixes it. Sometimes it's something sounding a little different. I have replaced the flapper once and that seemed to fix the problem temporarily, but the problem keeps returning.
My superintendent of my apartment building suggested that we replace all internal parts of this toilet. So I purchased the following as recommended by Toto:
* Toto flush handle, THU808#CP
* Toto universal fill valve TSU99A.XR
* Toto drain valve assembly, THU460.6D-A
My question to this experienced group is, what are the chances that replacing these three parts will successfully "wipe out" the problem and reset the toilet mechanics to like-new? Are there any other parts I should get? If I knew replacing parts A, B, and C and even D will get rid of this issue, that's a lot less expensive than buying a whole new toilet. The problem does not happen every time--it has happened about 1/3 of the time after flushing (oddly this seems to have decreased in the last month).
Thank you.
