Hey all, a few questions on Toto toilets:

1. Does the Drake II support a washlet seat?
2. I see that the pricing on the Nexus is 2x+ the Drake pricing - the only difference that shows up is the skirted vs non-skirted. Are there more diffs? Does it warrant the price jump?
3. We bought a drake based upon recommendations from here about 15 years ago - great buy! Is it still the toto GOAT?

2. Nexis is a one piece. Those cost more and have higher status. You should get comparable flushing with either.

Not all are 1 piece - it just seems like a huge price difference when the mechanicals and features are basically the same - unless I’m missing something else…

That is the way it is. Is that a revelation, or are you making a point? There are lots of things where you pay a lot extra for the fancier version. If the aesthetics are not worth it to you, don't spring for the extra.

Some people pay $2000 extra for a different color of paint on a car.

People say 1-piece are easier to clean. That is not that big of a deal. The 1 piece is heavier to carry up the stairs. You don't have to put the 1-piece together, and tighten it properly as you do with a Drake.

Ok, not trying to start anything with you - just trying to understand. Thanks!
