We are currently remodeling our home and will need to install 3 new toilets. We will need two regular toilets and one with a bidet. Our wish list is: Toto, one-piece, elongated bowl, skirted (but want to be able to easily change/tighten seats), CEFIONTECT, and tornado flush. Regular height would be slightly preferred, but it looks like we'll likely have to go with universal height. We're leaning towards 1.28 gpf because it's what we're most familiar with, but open to 1.0gpf if there's a lot of benefits.

The Toto Aquia IV seems to have a lot of bad/mixed reviews, and so that seems out of contention.

I believe that leaves us with:

Toto Nexus
Toto Legato
Toto Aimes
Toto Carlyle II
Toto Carolina II

The toilet list on Terry's site seems to have been last updated in 2017, and so several of these were not on the list. Does anyone have recommendations (or negative feedback) for the toilets on this list? (Also, open to any bidet recommendations, but will do a search on that as well later.)

Thanks in advance!

Avoid the Nexus because it uses utterly crap plastic blocks mounted on the floor to set the toilet.
The other models have 'normal', decent bolt/nut configs.
check MaP toilet flush ratings and only pick 1,000 gram/flush performance
Toto's 'bidet' seats are called Washlet and you can select model china with drilling especially for Washlets.
The Legato and Aimes has nice access panel for washlet.
Toto is not what it used to be when they lead the way. They have decent products, but for my money, we recommend simply Am Std. Flowise Cadet 3 that has special finish like cefiontect, flushes like a champ at 1,000 grams, uses basic fluidmaster flapper and ballcock and costs under $250. Also is right height. and you can put your money into the best Washlet...sure, not as elegant but Toto ballcocks and flush tower stink.

It sounds like you've done a lot of research already and have narrowed down your options to some great Toto models.

Recommendations:

Legato or Aimes: As Breplum mentioned, these offer easy access panels for installing a Washlet bidet seat, which is a nice feature.
Carlyle II or Carolina II: These are also solid choices if you don't need the access panel.

Additional Thoughts:

MaP Scores:
Definitely check the MaP scores as Breplum suggested. A score of 1,000 or higher ensures a powerful flush.
1.0 GPF vs. 1.28 GPF: While 1.28 GPF is what you're used to, consider the water savings of 1.0 GPF. Many modern toilets with this rating flush very well.
American Standard Flowise Cadet 3: Breplum's suggestion is worth considering, especially if budget is a factor. It's a reliable, high-performing toilet at a lower price point.

Washlet Bidet Seats: Toto's Washlet models are excellent, but you can also explore other brands like Bio Bidet for more options.
Ultimately, the best toilet for you will depend on your priorities and budget. If you value a sleek design and easy bidet seat installation, the Legato or Aimes might be ideal. If you prioritize performance and value, the American Standard option could be a good fit.
