Faucet sputtering after well pump replaced

UPDATE: Well, I never thought I would be able to say this, but....

NO MORE SPURTING!!!

It has been at least 10 days since the micronizer was replaced and the air release valve was adjusted to actually let air escape. There have been zero instances of spurting at my faucets or knocking in my toilets. I never thought we'd get to this point, but I can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

My greatest thanks to everyone that offered help and suggestions on this thread. I am 100% certain this problem would NOT have been successfully fixed without your spot on suggestions. Thank you all soooooooooo much!
