I have the variable speed pump in my well along with the bladder. I have had to call service tech out several times to replace the pressure sensor. Was wondering if the sensor could be relocated into the pumphouse? Then I could change it myself instead of the service techs pulling up the whole piping from well.

The sensor should be close to the pressure tank and neither should be down the well. I'll bet the service tech is driving a brand new vehicle. Lol!

There is no pressure tank, only the bladder that is built into one of the pipes. So, I would need to install a pressure tank also. The water line does tee off before entering pumphouse, for irrigation. Would that be a problem?

I would bet you have one of those in the well pressure tanks since that is where the transducer is. Adding another tank will only slow the surging down a bit. Need to figure out what is causing the problem. What rand of VFD do you have?

yes, they described it as a bladder. It's a CentriPro Aquavar 3AS20. Each time before, it was mineral buildup on the sensor. They would replace or clean it. One time they added air to the bladder.

Sorry for your problems. If they already had to add air to the bladder the bladder is already bad. Surging takes out the bladders quickly. When the bladder is bad the surging is even worse. Mineral buildup on the sensor is a normal problem with a VFD. The selling features of "lower price three phase motor and smaller wire" are why you are stuck with using the VFD controller to convert normal single phase house power to three phase to run that motor. You would be much better off with a normal single phase motor and regular pressure tank and pressure switch. Most of those work flawlessly for up to 20 years. Adding a Cycle Stop Valve will make it work better and last even longer.
