I have a wall hung sink going into a half bath, so exposed plumbing . I was thinking to use 1.25" chrome plated brass trap into 1.5 pvc drain . It will need to turn 90 horizontal at the wall and I am not sure what fittings to use . The arm will continue 3 feet and drain into 3 inch stack. What is the transition like there at the wall. should I use a medium turn 90 in pvc at the stubout?. 2- 45's ? If i used a long 90 in pvc . it seems you will see it exposed in the room.. or would you just use chrome brass for the 90 turn and then pvc?Is that medium 90 even code compliant for horizontal 90?thanks for your help

For the 90° turn at the wall, try using a long sweep 90° in PVC to ensure smooth drainage and code compliance for horizontal runs. If you're concerned about aesthetics, consider using a chrome brass 90° turn at the wall and transitioning to PVC. Alternatively, two 45° fittings can provide a smooth, gradual turn. Medium 90° elbows aren't ideal for horizontal setups, as they can cause drainage issues.
