Hello,

Our home is 7 years old and today we noticed something new. When using hot water in the kitchen there is a 'hum' in the air. It is hard to tell exactly where it is coming from, as the water is running. The noise goes away when we turn the faucet to cold, or turn it off, and returns as soon as we turn it back to hot. This doesn't happen with any of the faucets in the house.

Thank you

David

Answer to chucknewell

Hello,

It hums at any water pressure as soon as I turn the faucet past the middle from the blue to the red line. Thank you for your help.

Is your stop valve entirely open? This solved the problem for us.
