My parents a finishing a bathroom remodel in an older home. The new cabinet and sink are higher up and the sink drain is farther from the wall. I know I could make it all fit, but wondering if there is anything I need to do to ensure proper drainage.
Updated bathroom sink drain?

cut that stuff off add a coupling short piece of pipe and a santee and trap arm for a normal p trap then on top of santee add a short piece of pipe and AAV
