Ok 2 things: 1) I talked to a structural engineer about the large holes—joists have been sistered and holes will be reinforced with steel plates and blocking 2) that 3x2 santee is getting changed out for a wye + 1/8, the picture is slightly outdated as I’ve been working on this for an embarrassingly long time haha

While researching I read that it’s typically required that the toilet be the last fixture downstream from the wet vent, but considering it’s the only fixture being wet vented, is this ok or is it still wrong? What would you do?

Your drawing is not clear. How is the shower vented? If it is individually dry vented, and then connected to WC drain at the fitting on the right side of your picture, it could wet vent your WC.

IPC or UPC? Under the UPC, the shower would need to be dry-vented by a 2" dry vent, and it would need to connect to the WC drain within 6' of pipe run (horizontal and vertical) from the closet flange. Under the IPC, neither of those limits would apply, a 1-1/2" dry vent would suffice for a 3" WC drain.

Cheers, Wayne

I can read the 2 drawings Id eliminate the section for the lav and use the other hole in the next joist bay wet venting the toilet with the lav . and tie the shower vent into the rest of vents in cieling or attic
