Hello all. Repairing our flood damaged home and have to replace all of the plumbing on the main floor and the basement. I’ve attached a picture showing what is left of our plumbing and another picture of what I envision doing in PVC to handle both toilets on the main floor. We have a full bath on the second floor that runs into the 3 inch stack going to the basement. My concern is with venting with all 3 toilets and other fixtures flowing into that 3 inch pipe. There is a second 2 inch vent in the kitchen by the sink that may be able to be used.

Any help is appreciated.

That’s a massive project—sorry to hear about the flood damage! Your plan sounds solid, but venting is key to keeping everything flowing smoothly. With three toilets and multiple fixtures on that 3-inch stack, ensuring proper venting is crucial to avoid siphoning issues. If the 2-inch kitchen vent is nearby, it could help, but you may need additional venting, especially for the basement fixtures. A wet vent setup might work depending on your layout. Have you considered an AAV (Air Admittance Valve) where code allows? Would love to see your diagram—happy to troubleshoot with you!

You are not allowed to drain a upper floor toilet into the center vent as illustrated in the all PVC pic on the left.
The upper floor WC and any other fixtures should tie in below the vent takeoff in the middle.
