I tried to repair the faucet, when I pulled the stem out it was missing the screw that used to hold the seal. My kit had new screws, but it wasn't working at all, and the flow on the hot side was diminished. I'm thinking the missing screw wound up blocking somehow. The customer had a new faucet ready to go so I went with that. It took me an hour to remove the old faucet. Mini hack saw, and finally the sawzall on parts of it. Nothing came off easy. Not the stems, not the spout and not the drain. It was beating me up. It it was a countertop install, so no pulling the old bowl and tossing it.
