You guys have been great!!!! One last question: On this pentair pump there are five ruffly 1/8th inch holes in the bottom off the motor. What are they there for?? Thank you all again. Lyman

Picture please. I haven't paid attention to the Pentair or Centripro motors, which should be the same. I am used to one hole in the bottom of the motor. There is a diaphragm under the end cap and the hole lets it see downhole pressure so it can equalize the pressure in the motor and not blow out the seal.
