Never thought replacing a toilet would amount to so many options. One of those things the average person doesn't think twice about until they have to replace.

California
Single family hall bathroom use
12" rough in
Skirted
I don't think I care if one or two piece
Budget capped around $700, but please save me money if appropriate
Typical narrow "slot" bathroom layout, so most reasonably compact toilet from face of wall

Primarily based on research from this forum I've come up with these possible options, but please let me know if there are others. Also, there seem to be many sub-models of each model name, so I'm not sure if the below links are the right versions.
American Standard Cadet 3
Toto Aquia (IV?)
Gerber Avalanche

All extend to about 28" from face of wall, which seems to be slightly more compact than others I've seen.

Thanks so much. This forum has been helpful as I slowly remodel my never-been-touched 50yo home.
