Hi all, i need some help. I have a newly build house and a new well. Water has 0.24ppm iron and also iron bacteria. I dont want to use a chlorine filter system for various reasons, thinking about ozone system. Would you think that will take care or the iron bacteria? Also need some help to get the system together. I have already a Filter with media and backwash system, also a tank smaller tank from a softener that i can use for a contact tank. Just need to put the ozone injection together, if someone has some input on that.

You may get good control of that with sanitizing your well and plumbing. Spring is coming. Start collecting the supplies.

We have already sanitized the well and plumbing with shock chlorination, that did not help!

What are your symptoms that cause you to think you have IRB (Iron Reducing Bacteria)?

I had several specialist looking at my water. The symptoms? open the toilet tank lid and you see a slimy film and slime on the tank walls. I know it is iron bacteria.

Is here someone who could help me with this project, please! I am thinking of using a pool ozone generator around 3g/h output, just wondering if someone would guide me at least thru the plumbing part, i mean how many venturi injectors to use, their sizing, also how to off gas the ozone and so on
