I need to either re-bed my existing softener or replace it. It has a Clack WS1 valve on a 9x48 tank. I would like to increase the capacity of the softener if possible. I have a 10x 54 tank that I can scavenge from the iron filter I'm replacing. What issues will I run into if I put the WS1 on the 10x54 tank? Assuming I'll need to change the injector from red to white and modify the timers for the backwash/regen/backwash/rinse/fill cycle. Am I over simplifying what's needed to upsize the tank?

Softener will be following an iron filter. Media recommendations for the softener are welcomed.

Wanting the filter to be another Clack WS1 valve with either Katalox light or Filox media. Uncertain if it should have AIO, Ozone or neither.

Water test results are below. (Still waiting on the iron bacteria test to come back from the lab)

Input, recommendations, suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve
