How to solder stub out support strap: redux

Well word for the wise or dummies like me. I noticed that the stub out was loose. No problem.... thought I get the torch out and sweat it a bit. Did this w/o any precaution (protecting pex/empty line etc....

Results attached...

That fitting at the bottom of the PVC going to the galvanized steel is a water fitting, not a waste fitting. That will be impossible to snake later on. You can change that out now while you can.

It should be a long turn 90.

Terry, that pipe was there before but now that I have everything else up to code, I'd might as well do that too. Thanks for the catch.
