I would like to replace two 20-year old American Standard toilets in my home with new toilets (possibly the Toto Drake based on the advice of this forum). However, I have found that in both bathrooms, the horizontal distance from the center line of the toilet to the water supply is only about 4.5 inches (less than the “standard” 6 inches). Is this too small of an offset for the back of a new toilet like the Toto Drake to not block the water supply valve? Or am I overthinking this? I would really like to avoid changing the location of the plumbing.
