I'm adding a 2nd sink, about 3ft over from the existing drain that is tee'd directly onto the vent. Can I simply glue a sanitary tee right above the existing one, and then run pvc over about 3 ft through the studs? If I remember correctly, 3 ft is close enough to the vent, just not sure about the sanitary tee right above the existing one.

Thanks in advance!

It will work, assuming the horizontal line is low enough to connect the new sink. Any "additional vents" would have to be for the lower connection, but is not needed here.

You have 2" on the lower lav. If you replace the 2 x 1.5 x 1.5 santee with a 2 x 2 x 1.5 santee and the over that stack the 2 x 1.5 x 1.5 santee, you will have wet vented the upper lav over the lower lav.
That works with 2" on the wet portion.

Wow-that's an experienced eye to see that from that picture. Yes, it's 2" below that existing tee. So I will replace the bottom tee and then go from there with the 2 x 1.5 x 1.5.

Thanks Terry!
