Hi all,
I was looking for some advice on how to tackle a small above ground section of my main water supply line.
I will be replacing my old main water line (galvanized) as well as the rest of my homes plumbing (also galvanized) with pex.
The issue I have is that the supply line comes out of the ground from the supply line and enters the side of my home, about ~8 inches above ground. Knowing that I can't expose pex to light, I was considering transitioning from pex to CPVC for this small section, going through the wall, before transitioning back to PEX.
Is this a good option or is there better approach?
I appreciate any feedback,
Matt G
