I put in a 2 inch waste shower drain, into my 3 inch floor toilet pvc and i put a trap in. I post my stuff on youtube and someone said I would have an issue with that shower drain....since it has a trap and shower drain is higher than the toilet I wouldn't think so, but could this be an issue that the 2 inch going in is towards the bottom of the 3 inch ground pipe....I wouldn't think the pressure of the toilet would be an issue but in hind sight would the toilet water push into that drain...i wouldn't think so the water would keep running down the 3 inch waste line.
Is he right can the 2 inch coming in not go into the bottom, should I loop the trap the whole way around the 3 inch pipe so it goes in the top of the waste line and not the bottom?
below is a pic in case it doesn't stick:
the shower drain and that line out is a waste line, the fernco goes to sewer and the 3 inch pvc is the new toilet location
Your feedback Greatly Appreciated!!! Tried to hire my plumber he said what I wanted was too much work LOL, it is lots of respect to you guys!
