I know you all have addressed this before, but if I could get an answer I’d really appreciate it. I’m remodeling my sister kitchen in her 1970’s condo. She wants an undermount sink for her granite countertops. The obvious problem is that the sink drain will be only slightly (1/8”) lower than the disposal outlet. I can fashion a trap that will work, but my question is, will I be able to power on the disposal to prevent standing water? It is a single outlet sink that goes to a 2” horizontal cast iron pipe in the wall.
Thanks!
