I'm setting up a thermostat to the 5 ton Amana Aph1560 m41ab heat pump w heat kit an 2 stage cool, I see there's a purple an a yellow ,looks like purple is Y1 an yellow Y2 by diagram ..
Do I wire the yellow to yellow at an the extra unused wire that's brown to the purple then hook up yellow to Y2 IN STAT an brown to Y1..
I know on a lot of basic 1 stage it's just a direct yellow to Y1..
Just want to confirm it .
The brown wire at unit is capped so I used the extra brown wire for 1st stage purple wire .
Does it look correct
