Use tub DWV line for temp Washer drain?

I'm in the midst remodeling project including installing a new bathroom in the area once used for a washer and dryer. Until the new utility room is built, can I temporarily drain the washer into the bathtub DWV? The washer is temporally located on the other side of the bathtub so it is convenient. I suspect there may be some washer waste finding its way into the tub.

Yeah you can. There's no reason not to.

Not a forever thing as it can siphon the tub trap. Just keep that in mind.

A decent thought but 1) temporary is probably a year+/- 2) I could seal up the bathroom walls and just leave part of the temp utility room wall open.
