I'm converting my single vanity to a dual and have been reading on how to properly do the drain however i'm not quite clear. I'm not looking to open the wall and hoping to do it in the space i have behind the shelving in the vanity. The drains are 40" so as i understand it, i can't do a simple "dual sink" style setup because it's over 30". It seems like i might be able to do a "double wye" with a cleanout from the wall and then separate P traps for each sink. This is what i'm shooting for but i'm not sure if i'm allowed to put the double wye vertically or if it has to come out horizontally. I've included a mockup picture of the mini-setup to show what i'm talking about. Or can i simply come straight out of the wall to a tee and connect each sink? Thanks!
