We noticed a water stain on out ceiling. After taking it apart we realized the hot screwdriver shut off valve is leaking. From research it looks like we can remove this valve by loosening the nut and then unscrewing it. There should be a washer we can replace that will fix the issue. However before we attempt this I want to make sure we are right. Can anyone advise?

I think you can buy service parts and rebuild the stops I never have but it might be far easier and should take care of it or even tighten a packing but contact manufaceure for specifc info to your brand
