I would really appreciate some ideas for my bathtub installation.
So, I ripped out the old 40" tub and I have an above floor drain. The new tub drain location is needs to be moved back towards the back wall about 1 1/2 to 2" and shorted from the right wall about 8". Shorting the drain about 8" is no problem but moving the the drain toward the back wall is going to be a challenge due to the location of the pipe in the wall. Any suggestions on how I could do this? I have limited options as far as tubs go since it needs to accommodate an above the floor drain. I thought about just building the back wall out about 1 1/2" or 2" inches.
