Replacement Electric Water Heater Bradford White or AO Smith or other?

Helping a friend who will most likely need to replace his 17 year old Reliance 650DORT Electric hot water heater.

He wants to replace it with a 40 gallon and we are looking at the Bradford White RE340T6

Is this a good way to go, is it worth considering AO Smith or others?

You might find that the BW can only be sold to licensed plumbers. It's a good water heater. On line you can probably buy them. At the same supplier, I bought AO Smith ProLine for my own home.

thanks, I am in the SF bay area and CAL Steam Ferguson and WHCI sell to non contractors and they sell BW
