Pump pressure

I have replaced my pressure switch with a 40/60 same as was on it bladder tank has 38 lb but pump will not get past 50 lb can someone explain to me why

Lots of possibilities. Submersible or jet pump? Pictures help. Shut the power off since the pump won't shut off.
