Online distributors for softeners?

I know there are knock offs of Fleck and Clack. I also heard issues with fleck not honoring some warranties. Does Aqua-pure/ 3m still use clack?

Hard to say, I know they had a proprietary neck so future service is difficult.

I bought mine years ago from Ohio Pure Water, they sell the name brand control heads. I assume they are doing something right to be in the business as long as they have.
