Our capacitor went out to the well pump. I don’t know much about it, but going to buy a whole new motor control box. Can someone help me find one??? I found one that will work, it just has .37kw and the one we have is .25kw. Does that matter as long as the HP, volts & HZ is the same???

I don't think they make the 1/3HP, 0.25kw anymore. Just use the 1/2HP, 0.37kw box instead. The trick is to figure out what causes start capacitors to go bad and keep it from happening again. Starting or cycling too much is the only thing that causes start capacitors to go bad. A bad start cap is just a sign you are destroying the pump and everything else as well. Stop the cycling with a Cycle Stop Valve and everything will last longer and work better.

I would think if the HP matches, you should be OK. How about getting a new start capacitor?

From Franklin AIM manual page 50. CRC means the box has both a start and a run cap.

We can’t find a new capacitor. Looked everywhere and called. It would be easier to get the whole new box.

So the 1/2Hp & 0.37kw would 100% work?? I thought the voltage needs to be the same. Only ones I’m finding is 1/2HP with like 240VOLTS
