Maytag washing residential machine Specs says 39 inches for drain receptacle. My in wall receptacle is 30 inches. Do I need to raise to 39 inches

Maytag washing residential machine Specs says 39 inches for drain receptacle. My in wall receptacle is 30 inches. Do I need to raise to 39 inches

Depending on the WM, having the drain too low will allow the water to siphon out. I'd follow the manufacturer's instructions.
