I am in the process of adding a second washing machine, and I have a few questions.

1) The current supply is 1/2-inch copper. There is no nearby larger supply to tap into, and doing anything to address it would be a major undertaking in a finished basement. Other than slower filling and possibly code violations, how concerning is this?

2) The current washer drains into a 20-gallon basin with a discharge pump. I have done the math, and the pump should handle about 60 gallons per minute. These two appliances would be the only things draining into it. Are there any concerns?

Does it meet code?
3) I am struggling with exactly how I will vent and drain due to limitations from other pipes in my way. I stumbled across a post sponsored by a big box store showing their layout (see attached picture). I wonder if this would be allowed with one P-trap and one vent. If so, it would make this super easy. Otherwise, I am assuming separate vents for each with separate traps wye into a 3-inch drain.

I appreciate any help you can provide.
